The Waterfalls of the Grand Canyon
Havasu Falls Area

Just outside the Nationa Park's boundaries (on an indian reservation), Havasu Canyon contains the lions share of the waterfalls in the Grand Canyon. Combine the number of waterfalls and the turquoise color of Cataract Creek, and you can see why so many people visit there. It is a long but not particularily difficult hike of 10 miles to get to the campground which lies betweek Havasu Falls and Mooney Falls - the two most spectacular of the 5 major waterfalls within a 4 mile stretch of the creek.
